ERC online training 2025 

The training concerns all programmes under ERC (European Research Council) and consists of two interconnected live webinars (plus access to an online platform with a comprehensive background guide and recorded presentations). It is delivered by Lotte Jaspers from the consultancy firm Yellow Research (NL).  

Content: This two-part webinar provides a roadmap for ERC grant submission, addressing common challenges faced by Principal Investigators (PIs). Webinar 1 focuses on building the right mindset, understanding ERC objectives, evaluation criteria, panel expectations, and crafting a compelling, feasible project design. Webinar 2 offers a step-by-step guide to proposal writing, covering key elements like the CV, extended synopsis, and Track Record. 

Target group: Researchers at AAU who are planning to apply for ERC Starting, Consolidator or Advanced Grant in 2025 or 2026.

Deadline for the departments to inform F&P of the participants: April 1. 

Cost: The training is free for researchers planning to apply for an ERC grant with AAU as their host institution.
